What isn’t said is a comic based on a dream I had way back when. I decided to write it down, then had the idea of making a comic off of it. It’s vastly different from the dream I had but if you’re wondering why there’s so many walkways over abyss it’s because that was a good chunk of the dream.
I worked a good bit on a google doc to get the idea down and make it into its own thing. I decided to do something goofy and make it have way wayyyyyy to many branching paths that were decided on by voting. Me and my little man brain thinking it’s a good idea to have it effect practically everything from dialogue to what you see in the back flashes. I don’t regret doing it because I’ve been very passionate about it- so much so that I’ve been posting it since Sep 6th 2021!
I started the comic on a bi weekly schedule because I was scared I’d fall off from posting, as I don’t just make comics and have other life things I must do during the day. On my Birthday I decided to go to weekly comic uploads and see if I can hold that schedule. I was able to and once the first vote was cast I accidentally made the sheet double the length I usually make it and just rolled with it. That’s right, me doubling the length of the comic was by accident. I just decided to go with it since it’d mean I could put more in or do more dramatic paneling.
Over the time I've been drawing the comic I learned quite a lot, mostly that I’m a bastard who wants to do really stupidly convoluted things with panels. Will I stop doing that and making my environment too organic that it’s hard for me to have a proper reference sheet of the area? No, and I will kill myself with this. I will also kill myself doing really stupid angles, you can’t stop me, I can’t stop me.
If you even just enjoy that I’m doing something weird with the presentation, I’d appreciate it if you could help get the word out of the comic. I am horrible at advertising, I will not lie. I put more effort into the comic itself as well as making ideas and planning for my next ones because I am happy doing this but I fail at trying to get word out about it. Though I try.
